A Research Project for    Educational Technologist. Deep study into Gamification of a system

SCOPE OF STUDY

The  study  is  focused  and  centered  on  gamifying  physics  concepts  to  be  thought  by physics teachers using gamified applications to facilitate a better understanding of the subject by the student. It unveils a new knowledge on how games can affect learning environment, as well as impact gamification has had on the learners in the education system today.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE

The aim of this project is not just to provide theoretical applications of gamification alone but also to provide practical applications. This will certainly include an extensive background research, accompanied by a review of literature which will examine the use of gamification in several schools and colleges in order to identify best practices for gamifying a process and the impact through which it has  on the learning  styles of individual  students. The  project will be centered on how teachers can impact knowledge on the students through the use of gamification within  and  outside  the  classroom  environment.

This  basically  deals  with  the  ability  for  the teachers to be willing and ready to utilize this gamified system to teach their students. This will then be applied to the practical case which involves finding solutions to motivation of students in terms  of rapid learning. This  research  could eventually lead  to  a  sustainable  learning  process within  the  educational  context,  which  would  serve  as  a  catalyst  to  speeding  up  the  level  of understanding of every student.
